BAFTA Film Awards 2023: All Quiet on the Western Front Leads With 14 Nominations
Celebrating the very best in film over the past year.
The nominations for the 2023 BAFTA Film Awards have been announced with All Quiet on the Western Front leading the pack.
Netflixs anti-war epic is up for 14 awards including Best Film, Best Director, Supporting Actor, Adapted Screenplay, and Best Film not in the English Language. It now ties with Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon as the most-nominated foreign film in the history of the awards.
The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All at Once follow in the BAFTAsrace with 10 nods each, while Elvis comes close behind with nine nominations. Tr also features in the top five most-nominated movies for this years awards, with five nods in various categories.
First-time nominees feature heavily across the board this year, with 14 of the 24 nominees in the performance categories receiving their very first BAFTA Film nomination, including Ana De Armas, Angela Bassett, Austin Butler, Colin Farrell, Brendan Fraser, and Ke Huy Quan.
